Mak, Ibu, Ummi, Mama!

The proverbial "first word" of an infant often sounds like "ma" or "mama." But most familiar terms of mother in English are: Mom/Mum/Ma or Mommy/Mummy/Mammy. Anyway, it consist the first letter - M. This strong association of that sound with "mother" has persisted in nearly every language on earth, countering the natural localization of language. In Malaysia, the mother is known as Emak/Mak, Ibu/Bu, Ummi/Mi, or Mama/Ma.

A mother is a woman who has conceived, given birth to, or raised a child in the role of a parent. Because of the complexity and differences of a mothers' social, cultural, and religious definitions and roles, it is challenging to define a mother to suit a universally accepted definition.

I'm here just want to share with you what mothers do, what my mother told me and what you can share as a mother - about motherhood or any related topics.

*A mother is not limited to biological but non biological (surrogate), -in law, adoptive, stepmother, and other mother.

Till then, bye!
